provider with the best managed service?

Ok, got REALLY pissed off by the tech support of current one and not paying a vps to feel an idiot.

both websites down, cannot access WHM,Cpanel and webmails just because "It seems you were used wrong password". I'm not a server admin, but I'm not buying this one

-FIRST thunderbird wasn't able to get the mails with the STORED passwords
-THEN I tried access to Cpanel/WHM

Unluckly the don't offer refunds, so I'm moving on and try find someone else (hopefully) better

PLEASE name a dedi / vps provider that you know by personal experience that is good and with reasonable price, excluding liquidweb since their offers are too expensive compared to others

I am curious to know which host you are comparing liquidweb too that has a similar product and support experience? Our prices are quite competitive.

    compared with http://www.futurehosting.com/web-hos...icated-servers

for the same price i can have:

    Xeon 3450 4 x 2.66GHz +HT
    2 x 500GB
    4 IPs
    4GB
    10,000GB bandwidth

no offence, I didn't want do bad advertising on you, seems that liquidweb is quite loved in this forum, but i just want avoid replies about a provider that I can't afford (yet )

What's is your budget and hardware requirements?
Do you need a specific server location?

I might have a preference in EU area, but US with good connectivity is enough.

budget more or less 200$ per month, but I'll prefer start with a vps "to know who is my neighbour"

    specs about these
    Xeon 3450 4 x 2.66GHz +HT
    2 x 500GB
4 IPs (migh need nore for SSLs)
    4GB ( if 8GB DDR3 ECC could be better)
    10,000GB bandwidth (I don't think I'll need that much)
Cpanel and managed support (---->MOST IMPORTANT)

Well, Liquidweb have that six core AMD server for $199, $219 with cpanel and full management

Plus it has 2x 250gb drives in raid 1, plus a second 250gb drive as a backup

    yeah that's nice with 8gb ram (ddr2 or ddr3? ecc or non-ecc?)

anyway my previous one was well known, with multiple location, proactive, Lv3 tech and bla bla bla and turned out that I was spending more time sending tickets to fix a normal use of the server than selling or promoting. Luckly I didn't put any production website on the vps
