How often do you find yourself swearing at your screen?
Im not sure about others on here, though I seem to find myself doing it a fair amount throughout the day.
Of course my anger doesn't convey at all through in my response, but I do find myself hitting "Send" whilst saying "F*** Off!" followed by the middle finger to the screen.
The reason I ask is I did it just then and and I'm sure I'm either emotionally damaging my monitors or I just have issues.

I do this as well. I've gotten a bit better at it since last year. I went through 3 laptops due to me sending them to their premature demise.
I still have issues with monitors though....

when MS releases a SP that botches stuff then yeah. most of my cussing at screen incidents happen becuase of MS.

but computer screen would be sad though becuase it had no one else to share it's pain.

Has never happened to me so far, and for that, I'm grateful. Swearing in general is just not my niche.

Well played sir, though I'd beg to differ that the screen does in fact hear you. She most definitely slows down and gets edgy upon you exclaiming your intentions.

My old desktop computer's monitor was malfunctioning from several weeks and I was too lazy to get it fixed. Its screen would turn yellow but once I gave a good few tough smacks, it returned to normal. I kept doing it daily until it completely died off.
