    Hi Leoxson,

Have you considered setting up a VPN on your Linux VPS?

    Hi Leoxson,

You are looking to basically setup VPN's on the VPS and then rent them out to customers for high-speed internet if I understand correctly?

It is not for rent, it is for personal use to surf the internet at the best rate

To do what you want you will need a VPS that support GUI. And almost all VPS's supports GUI. I will suggest before buying the VPS to contact the hosting company support and ask if it is allowed to have/install GUI on the VPS and if they can do that for you, in case if you do not know how to do that.

You'll want a Linux or Windows-based VPS. If you choose a Linux-based VPS, install a desktop, like Gnome, and VNC. VNC into your machine and you'll be able to surf the Internet at the speed of your VPSs connection. We do this for software development. If you use a setup a VPS as VPN and route your Internet traffic through it, you won't get any speed benefits.

then the best thing to do is buy a cheap VPS , Setup OpenVPN and start surfing, you can also get a VPS , install gnome and VNC server but that will require a bigger VPS and you won't be able to browse with speed nor download anything to your local pc, a VPN is best choice here, check buyvm for cheap vps

You can easily get this work by ordering a VPS and install with openvpn.
Also, you can setup the remote desktop on linux with freenx, quite a pretty good remote desktop tools.

Try burst.net, their speed is pretty good.

You will need a Xen based or KVM based VPS if you planning to install a GUI based OS. Not many providers provide GUI OS Templates.
Softaculous - Auto Installer for cPanel, Direct Admin, InterWorx, Plesk, H-Sphere
The only Auto Installer that installs 260+ scripts. Install in just ONE STEP!
Virtualizor - VPS Control Panel supporting OpenVZ, Xen, KVM and has 60+ OS Templates
Webuzo - Softaculous for the Cloud i.e. Softaculous Standalone

    Not true.
NX runs fine on OvenVZ (Debian + Gnome).

Also you all didnt get what he wants: He wants to Surf over his VPS (as in Remotedesktop/VNC/NX) and use the high speed line of it - NOT install a VPN and use it at home (most likely because his Connecction is slow).

NX + Debian + Gnome runs on 256Mb, but not good - Usable with 512, but stull not good - get 1Gb Ram+ for something like this.

Also you want your VPS to be near you, low latency is absolutely needed when you want a good RDP/NX session without much lagg.
