Firefox 4 Released Today

I think it's much more fantastic than Version 3. Your thoughts? I use FasterFox with it to boost the speed of it too.

This is a great improvement. I might just switch back to Firefox from Chrome now.

What are the new features compared to V3?

There are many great features and improvements to Firefox 4. The most noticeable improvements are the minimalistic interface and speed. This is the fastest version of Firefox yet.

FF4 looks fantastic. Firefox has always been my favorite browser.

I think this release is just plain bad.

The menu bar is exactly the same as Opera 10 has been using since it's release. Why need to copy something from other browsers?

And I just can't get used to browsers without bottom tabs and since it's gone with FF4, it looks like a "slower" version of Chrome when browsing a few websites.

I guess I'll stick to Opera.

I guess it doesn't need Fasterfox. It seems quite fast without it.

Chrome has and does everything I need. I tried the beta of FF4 and wasn't to thrilled. I don't know what could move me from Chrome.

Take a look at Rockmelt based off chromium but if you use a lot of social networks you may change.. kind of.

I will stick to chrome. Even though I have a beast workstation with tons of power, firefox still uses too much memory and is too slow for my tastes. Even version 4. Chrome still yields better results for loading times and overall quickness. It just feels much snappier.

I agree. I keep Firefox as a secondary browser but for the most part Chrome works noticeably better on even my highest end machine.

Wow scrolling is really smooth! Sites are way more responsive! Good job Firefox team!

Now the only thing I dislike is the bottom bar portion where you see the hovered URL only appears when it's hovered in a little tooltip... strange, but tolerable. still getting used to the top tabs...
