    iPhone Auto Correct #Fail

The auto-correct on the iPhone is really getting annoying. My biggest issue is when I type "me" in a text it auto-corrects to "mr" and is extremely frustrating. I was wondering if any one shares my frustration, or has accidentally sent something they didn't want all thanks to auto-correct.

I wish I still had the email my wife sent me. Was screenshots of all the "fails" related to auto-correct. It literally had me in tears.

    For anyone interested in disabling:

Settings > General > Keyboard > Check Spelling

You can actually "train" your iPhone's auto correction by clicking the X when a suggestion comes up. You may have to do this a few times / for a while. Seems to work for me.

What!? I type "me" on my iPhone 3GS regularly and it doesn't correct it at all... Although there are some other pretty annoying corrections I will admit!

I would snap if it tried to correct "me" to "mr" every time

Yeah, it is very annoying. I remember many times I've sent mails with 'mr' replacing 'me'.

It is annoying. I've yet to untrain my iPhone on that, too. :/

I agree. It gets annoying on iPads too. Just as you're in a decent groove writing something, auto-correct rears it's ugly head and makes you pause.
