Working to restore a Machine Backup
I am working to restore a full machine backup (my first experience)
I wget the backup, its now on node (.tar format).
I untar it, now any information on what to do next?
what control panel do you use? what virtualization do you use? give more detiled information so we can help you.

I'd suggest you using rsync if you intended to backup or replicate full server.

I think I need to just move files to new box, but unable to locate extracted files.
Is it full server backup including all configuration files? Or just domain backup?? And, files that you have extracted should be stored in your working directory which you can know using command pwd.
