What settings are you running the same on?

3500+ isn't a fantastic CPU for the new games, especially Crysis.

    the official recommended specs are

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66Ghz, AMD Athlon 64 x2 2.66Ghz or better
GPU: NVidia GTX280 1GB, ATI 4870 1GB or better (you need to upgrade)
RAM: 3GB (you're on the minimum, hopefully its DDR800 or overclocked)
    DX: 9
    Shader: 3.0
    OS: Windows XP
    Frame Rate Target: [email protected]

I recommend you run on the lowest settings and try increase your graphics card, as you can always move it into a new pc or motherboard when you upgrade pc anyway

You won't be able to run it on high settings, probably around low settings and a fairly low resolution.

Crysis 2 isn't as demanding as it's predecessor but it is still pretty heavy in terms of requirements if you're looking to run it on high or ultra settings.

I recommend upgrading to a core2duo or quad at least. And maybe a GTX 460 or 560 would do for you. You'll be able to run the game on medium to high settings depending on the resolution you want to play on.

Yeah that box is no good for Crysis. Even though it's an older game now it still sucks the life out of hardware more than almost any other game, except for Metro 2033. You can build a new gaming rig that can handle any game out now on high settings for under $1k. Just gotta shop smart

There's no way you'll be able to run Crysis well on that machine. Get something a bit better than the recommended specs and you should be able to run it.

there is always a chance .
you just need to change config and disable things like "shadows" and a lower resolution in game sitting.
