I use Backup smart to back up to my home computer. It works great for my Personal Accounts but I would like to expand this to offer an Auto backup service for my Hosting customers for cpanel.
Customers should be able to access the backups on the server and restore them at will. Or download already created backups for the month / week /day.
I know cpanel does this already but I would like it done automatically and and have the customer be able to control their own backup., With a separate log in and password control.
My question is What does the big boys use in terms to software / hardware ect.?
I could not find software / php or perl script that would allow me to do it.
I'm think it would be a great feature to add to my packages and maybe make a little extra for outside customers.
