Looking for a decent UK provider

Hello guys!

I am looking for a decent UK provider for a shared web hosting account.

I will be hosting 1 main domain with approximately 2-3 addon domains.

The websites will be primary HTML pages (about 10-15 files) and a contact form.

I am expecting something between 500 - 1500 page visits per day for each web site.

It is very important that the uptime is 99% and the support is answering within 30 minutes to 1 hour on tickets.

Thanks

I would like to give you a couple of names and you can do a self research regarding their service. Inno hosting and EZPZ hosting are coming to my mind as far as the reviews here are concerned. Hope this helps. BTW your uptime requirement is quite low considering the current standards.

There are a lot of providers who can offer what you need. I assume you will not have very large needs in terms of space and bandwidth. You may also want to consider providers offering service out of Europe in cities like Amsterdam, as performance to the UK is still quite good (just ~10ms away).

Regarding support, you should check with each provider you consider as to their average support response time. Some may list 24x7 while they may not actually be delivering the response times you want.

Are you sure about that?

A 99.9%-99.97% guarantee is better.

I've used them too for many years. They seem very stable - in fact I can't remember the last time I put in a ticket.

I am a (happy) Innohosting client.

As for the uptime, check here some results of monitoring one of my websites hosted with innohosting since 2008:

Monitored since Uptime
2008-02-11/1131 day(s) 1131 day(s)

2009 uptime
99.99% - downtime 8 min(s) 3 sec(s)/3

However their most important strong point is support service. I have nothing to complain about in more than 3 years with them.

Keep in mind that our UK/Europe presence is shared hosting only and not VPS/Dedicated. I just wanted to clarify that.
