    server leasing options?

    Hi everyone,

Was wondering where I should look for options on leasing / payment plans for servers. Already checked out dell and was wondering if there were any other good options out there. Would be looking to get about 30 basic quad core supermicro systems if I could. Basic requirements would be x3440, 4gb ram or more, case that supports 4 hard drives, ipmi.

    Thanks,
    Gabe

RackmountEtc is in partnership with a leasing company. They don't have the specs you mentioned on their website, but shoot them an email - I'm sure Brian can get you pricing on what you need.

    Just my two cents

It's not necessary to lease through the vendor. There are plenty of leasing companies out there that will put in the order with a vendor of your choice.

Alternatively, you can try leasing through your provider. It never hurts to ask.

Talk to Curt ([email protected]). He should be able to help you out with both the servers and getting in contact with any number of leasing providers his customers have worked with in the past.

Those are the three companies I recommend, but for something of that size I'd probably say that Advantage would be your best bet.

    DirectCapital
    Balboa capital

Both work great, Direct Cap would be your best bet on stuff that small, 30-50k is their sweet spot.

Additionally.. Why not ask your bank? They know you the best and have access to all your banking history/financials already.
