Most hosts will allow legal adult content to be hosted on their servers. To verify, contact their sales team. Make a list, and contact each host. This should also give you an idea of their response time.

Its probably worth adding that some hosts may require you to prove you own the content, and its legal.
A good number of hosts, both shared and dedicated will be able to accommodate you though.

Most USA and/or offshore hosts allow legal adult sites. But, rarely of them allow child porno.
Rarely? Do you know of one that does? If so, I think you need to pick up the phone and dial 9-1-1.

Hmmmm, sounds like another reason to look more closely at hosting companies using litespeed me thinks.
Have noticed a bunch of big name hosts, have one subsidiary that's goodie 2 shoes and another that's all about getting in on adult hosting revenue. Not naming names and have no particular hosting company recommendation for it.
Just my newb opinion, but consider hosting companies who restrict "adult content", to be a selling point. Don't envy you that type of niche OP. Yikes ... the formalities involved alone would be more headache than I'd want anything to do with. To say nothing of the amount of competition someone would be up against if they intended to cash in on it.
lol ... think 1/2 the net is made up of porno sites. YIKES. Have seen sites on the net that list "adult content friendly" web hosting companies though. Might fire up google and give er a go ?
disclaimer: Junior wannabe here ... Feel more than free to totally ignore my ramblings.( UPDATE ! I am officially a WHT addict !!! This is such a proud day ! lol ).

lol ... agree with ya. I don't have anything against "adult content". With actual adults who wanna do it. None of my concern. Just saying from a prospective of like SEO or what not.
Don't want to deal with a host who's constantly getting servers blacklisted cause porno people they host are running rampant spamming or whatever else. Da almighty google, LORD of the internet and supreme overlord of all the lowly SEM/SEO peasants like meself. Claims such folks are from "bad neighborhoods" and so forth.
Don't care if people wanna spend the rest of their lives watching hot chicks with interracial midgets. None of my business. Anything that might provoke the fierce wrath of the big G though. That's summin else entirely.
The stupendous GOOG! has been known to shoot first and not give a crap later. If some poor innocent website owner gets caught in the cross fire. It's not like google is going to miss any sleep over it, ya know ?

@checkingthisout Do you have any examples of where servers (I guess you mean IP-addresses/netblocks) gets blacklisted by Google because of adult/pornographic material being on the same server/IP-address/netblock?
Sorry Henrik, havent checked this thread in awhile, so didn't see this post till now. Gawd I've got to stop coming here. Spending too much time I need to focus elsewhere.
NOTE: *WARNING*, This post contains adult content, graphic language and stuff that will offend uptight kinds of people. If you are such a person. DO NOT READ FURTHER.
Would do a google search about the topic. When it comes to the mighty, stupendous ... all powerful GOOG!. My take on it is, error on the side of caution ... always. Google's weird and inconsistent in too many ways. Pretty much does what they wan't, when they want and how they want. So yeah, people have gotten their sites slammed because of bad neighbors.
People in the skin industry tend not to be the most ethical and moral people nature ever produced ya know ? If they're willing to make money off a just turned 18yr old girl getting a train pulled on her. Needless to say, many of them aren't adverse to pulling all manner of sleazy crap if they think they'll get ahead somehow.
Jmo ... unless you're in the skin industry. Would definitely say error on the side of caution and host with a clean host. Don't know who's worse. The die hard church goers I've known or the doper let's make a porno crowd, lol. Otherwise would do some general research into the topic H. As mentioned though. Think better safe than sorry in all things google related. I don't trust google any further than I can throw em.

Just read most of this thread, also agree most hosts will accomodate you. If worried about blacklisting cos of other sites, get your own IP for your site, easly done. As a responsible host, I'd host you so long as nothing illegal, same stance as many I expect
Few host are going to turn down legal content, a sales a sale. What's going to vary drastically is how they deal with a site that becomes problematic. Adult content is more likely to become problematic. By this I mean attract DDOS attacks, hacking attempts, large spikes in traffic etc.
A host that specialises in adult content will be more used to dealing with these issues, but expect to pay more also.
