    Enabling Mod Rewrite in httpd

    I have drupal site which utlizes "clean urls" which do not function properly on my vps. I believe i need to enable mod rewrite in order for this work. I am using httpd/kloxo, can anybody explain what i need to change?

    Check your /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file
    There should be a line like following:
    LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

    Then check .htaccess file in your web root directory, this file should have something like following:

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    ....
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    ...
    </IfModule>
