How can I Setup Cronjobs in my Web Hosting?

I recently want to add a newsletter function to my site. One of a newsletter software satisfy my demands. But it need to setup the Cronjobs in my web hosting. I really have no idea about what is Cronjobs. Anyone can help me?

It tells me that in their demo site,
The setup processe of a cronjob depends on the hosting software you are using (Plesk, cPanel). Then add the commands bellow.
    wget -O - -q -t 1 http:/x.xxx.xxx/newsletter_sendmail.php?key=hZwtPALP\&user_id=1

But I really do not know where I can find the commands? Thank you.

What control panel do you use? If cPanel, then simply look for the icon named "Cron jobs" at the bottom and you would fill out the time you want the cron to run and input your command.

one more question would be is it a VPS or do you have a control panel at all? :-D

than what's Cronjob? it is a deamon that runs scripts [in simple words..] and on a Linux box you can add a job by editing the actual users crontable by issuing "crontab -e" [command line] and adding the "job" on a new line , before the command the frequency of the job needs to be specified.
Or you can just simply use the pre-configured /etc/cron.daily, /etc/cron.weekly or /etc/cron.weekly directory and copy a script directly into one of these folder [which folder - it depends on what frequency you want it to be run [daily, weekly etc.]
But on a shared hosting use the control panel
