The portable datacenter
Hi Web Hosting Talk Lounge, this will be my first post in these parts
Just thought I would post a few pictures of the new portable datacenter we just built. I'm an electrician by trade and not many electricians could care about post power hookups in any DC so I thought I'd share with you guys! Please don't ask too many complicated questions, I only handled hooking up all the power!

APC built one a few years back that was to be sold for upwards of $1.5 million; if I remember correctly.

Probably around ~6 months start to finish. I was only involved for about 3 when they had me come in and do the electrical.

Sounds cool, but the security on a trailer like this is horrible. Also it would be very unstable in a natural disaster scenario. I don't think this is a very secure/safe solution to expansion.
