    create one thousand subdomains

    If i have listing that include subdomain with path
    example:
    1.mydomain.com public_html/my/1
    2.mydomain.com public_html/my/2
    3.mydomain.com public_html/my/3
    .....etc

    is there has quick way for create?
    SSH?hosting provider end?

    lol why do you need 1 thousand subdomains? are you creating a free hosting service?

    I wouldn't suggest doing it in a shared environment personally.

    You could write a script to create all of the folders for you. If you have wildcard subdomains configured, you could use mod_rewrite or ISAPI_Rewrite to load the files for each subdomain from its appropriate subfolder.

    It depends on the control panel. If you are using cPanel there are scripts in the /scripts folder that would be able to assist.

    If you are on a shared host I am not sure how you would easily accomplish this.

    just point a dns record of *.example.com and then read off the subdom, don't bother manually making thousands

    Wild card sub domain would be the way to do it, something like http://www.wiredstudios.com/php-prog...on-cpanel.html

    However would probably need the providers help...

    As others have said, use a wildcard vhost entry to point *.yourdomain.com at a single web root. Your application should then read in the request, and serve the correct folder.

    You could also do this using mod_vhost_alias under Apache.
