Looking For Dedicated Server With Good RAM/Memory..

    Hello,
Currently i'm with CaroNET as my hosting provider but at the server spec i'm on can't handle what i need, due to the heavy MySQL usage that use.

    Current spec's
    Chassis: Dell PowerEdge R300
    CPU: Intel Xeon X3353 (Yorkfield)
    2666MHz - 4 Cores - 512kB Cache
    Memory: 8192MB
    RAID Level: No RAID
HDD 1: 1000 GB SATA hard drive at 7200 RPM

I'm looking for server with at least 16GB RAM/Memory but i'm willing to downgrade my hard drive in order to get a good deal. The datacenter location doesn't matter much as i've jumped from the UK to US alot of times. I also need cpanel+whm included too as i have PSM as my server admins so unmanaged hosting would be a bonus but if you have managed tell me.

My budget is around $250 a month max but willing to pay one-off setup fees if it's cheaper to do.

Any idea's on where to find such a setup? i've looked all around google search for a host but diden't turn up such luck.

    Regards,
    Antz

For your budget, you can get a xeon 34xx (ideally 3440 or higher) series with 8GB RAM. It is a better processor to look out for your budget.

Have you checked the offer section?

Did you look into the Offer Section of WHT? There are a lot of offers listed there.

Hosts are not allowed to send offers via PM in this board. So look into the offer section.

For managed take a look at Liquid Web, otherwise for unmanaged GigeNet.

They'll help you here and there, but they aren't managed. That's just them being courteous

Take a loot at the offers in WHT. SoftLayer may be an option. I'm assuming you are running Linux as PSM only deals with cPanel on Linux right?

check offer section, your budget is good so you can find better provider, at this budget you will get better QuadCore processor (like 55XX) with 16GB RAM and cPanel.
