If you already installed cPanel and had issues, I would recommend doing a fresh OS install and trying again.

Make sure your system meets the requirements:

    http://www.cpanel.net/products/cpane...uirements.html

Normally if your seeing those ..++..+++++.. and they are moving along it is normal and cPanel should be installing. Depending on your hardware, I have seen cPanel take longer than 2 hours to install. If your not seeing any errors I would let it do its thing.

*I forgot also you want to make sure SELinux is disabled.

Your allocated resources may be low or your session could of timed out. Either way, get things checked out to be sure.

Sometimes it takes over an hour to install; if there's progress being made then just be patient. You can maybe try installing cPanel a little later as the node you are on could be experiencing some kind of issue.

    Good luck

    Hi,
Do you have a license for CPanel/WHM. If you do, they can install it for you and everything will be resolved unless there is a vps configuration problem.

Did you also do Yum Update and try use a different template. - 64bit instead of 32bit or the other way around.
Second option, use a centos 5 template but use the latest one, CPanel/WHM would auto update itself.

Try both ssh consoles, one from the vps and other one from the host node.

    Thank You,
    computerwis

Patience, sometime the cpanel installation can take more than 2 hours.
