The support is great, and the network performs surprisingly well, all at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend them.

If they're good enough for 4chan, they're good enough for you.

Their pricing's also quite reasonable for such a great network.
You'd struggle to find another provider with better latency to Asia.

Don't worry about the past, too many associations back then. They are time tested provider, so you are fine with Quadra.

These were written by another host sales person who is in the same building as us (but is much smaller, and in financial trouble) to try and stop us from getting a really big client and future clients.
Those "complaint" websites are really stupid. Anyone can write ANYTHING they want, and there's nothing you can do about it.
They are all hosted overseas on purpose. So pick any company you want, write a nice lie about it and there you go, same situation.

What's wrong with PacificRack? We used to have many brands to target different niche markets. As we grew and brought on new products and purchased companies our brands became diluted. QuadraNet was born as a necessity to consolidate the companies. We are now stronger and better than ever.
If you look at the top of the PacificRack website, it has a notice telling you to visit QuadraNet instead.

And this is what's discouraging me (and I'm sure many others) from doing business with them. This goes back to that infamous thread. I really think someone needs to address past issues and be able to convincingly remove any doubt.

We all make mistakes but we must take ownership and make things right.

    Regards

Chris has already done that, what 2 years ago? Via the rebranding and name changes they've worked to distance themselves from the spammy/porn reputation of oc3networks and by all accounts of their customers have done a fine job.

I saw those allegations as well looking at them as a host over a year ago, and it made me uneasy as well. It turned out to really just be a competitor slandering the company, and there really was no basis to any of it. I had a good experience doing business with them, like all of the other reviews I had read had said. I've done hosting with Chris as a sales guy for several years, and it's always been great working with him, so I wouldn't worry about that aspect either.

The others in in this thread are not simply referencing to complaints board as their sole source.

Hate to bring the pass back, but take a look at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=712643

The vast majority of all review web sites contain posts for and against the provider, for the purpose of propping up or libeling that provider. Very few have any factual basis one way or another.

Quadranet runs a tight ship. Very professional and open. I don't think you have anything to fear.

They have a solid reputation here on WHT, which isn't easy to accomplish.

Changing names/brands doesn't mean you can sweep the past under the rug and forget about it. It's not just about spam. Check out the link GCM posted above.

These are valid concerns that need to be addressed. As they say: you can take the man out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the man.

Yes, I know alot more about it than you think, who do you think the person was that outed him as both michael sanduval and alex ferrier? Yeah, that would be me. I've spoken to Chris face to face, he was a kid, he made some mistakes, he owned up to them and he's working to build a solid reputation for himself. Alot of the kiddiehosts on this forum could learn a thing or two. Avoid the drama, build a brand, invest in yourself. Don't wate time trying to tear others down.

    Summed up nicely.

A little more time worrying about yourself and your own business, and a lot less time dedicated to digging up dirt on others would be a better use of your time as a general rule. I am always amazed at the message board trolls who spend insane amounts of time trolling their competition on forums instead of working on their own business.

Unless it is putting money in, or taking money out of, your pocket directly. Who cares?

I understand you're convinced and that's good for you. Perhaps you have something concrete for the rest of us that didn't get a chance to meet him in person?

Think of all the opportunities they would be benefiting from were they to clear things up in public. It shows a certain level of maturity. Again, we all make mistakes but we have to learn from them.

I'm ready to pull the checkbook out...

This has been discussed already here in WHT and you can just search here in WHT for more review.

If you want to know more about them, you can contact them directly.

I can see there are some arguments started already... to avoid it </thread>
