    WHM for less than US$20/mo?

    Hi,

I'm currently paying an extra US$20/mo to my current hosting provider for having WHM on my dedicated server.

Is there any way to get WHM for less money through a third-party seller?

    Thank you,
    Jonathan

External cPanel licenses range from $30-50/month. $20 is a good price.

I agree. I have tried looking for this in a lot of places. $20 is really good price for WHM.

If you're 'cool', you could switch to DirectAdmin. Your provider would pay $89 lifetime for a license for you, so in reality, that works out to savings for you.

Cost of external cPanel licenses range from about $30 to $48 so you are currently getting it at a very good price from your provider.

As said already, that's about as good as it gets for dedicated server cPanel licenses.

I believe it's Burst? Not many providers do $20/m cPanel.

Uh, not for anyone. I doubt there are many providers paying less than $20 as their cost. Anyone offering it for $19, $20 is probably take a few dollars loss and just rolling it into the servers cost.

I really feel like I saw providers offering it for ~$14.. Maybe I've gone batty in my old age

I doubt that. Burst is one of the first partners of cPanel, and has been offering cPanel ever since. I don't think it would have been possible for them to do cPanel at $20 and absorb remaining cost into the cost of server, while offering budget servers (unless they have specific agreement between them and cPanel).

CPanel actually started when Nick worked @ Burst, so yes, they are one of the oldest CPanel partners
