That's probably because BurstNet is in the United States, and Asia has poor routing.

Try looking for a Asia based host. Be warned though, that the prices will be ALOT more expensive, for what you get.

Did you ask for a test speed before you decide to sign up?

This is always the best way to do before signing up for hosting so you will be aware of the speed already.

Which of our datacenters are you using? We have a DC in LA which should offer you a decent ping from Asia.

For an inexpensive VPS with good routing to Asia, check out BuyVM.net. They're in the Hurricane Electric data center in Fremont, CA.

They have a $15/year VPS that I've had for about 7 months. It's a pretty good deal.

I use it with OpenVPN (from Asia) and ping time for me is 175ms.

They're out of stock often, but I hear they're getting more stock today.

Make sure you utilize our Los Angeles California (West Coast) based location for Asian VPS connectivity, which will be much much faster than our Scranton Pennsylvania (Est Coast) location to Asia.

Try to find a server in South Korea. As Long as they provide English support. Korea is best. I mean South Korea
