    Hostdime is the worst hosting company that I have ever worked with, hostdime is the worst in the world. They are not offering what they have promised on their website. Their servers never work all time, sometimes email service has problems, sometimes ftp and sometimes they have problem with web services (httpd) as well. I think hostdime has an overall uptime of 50%. I have never seen that all services are working smoothly without having any issues at all on hostdime. They always has some kind of problems with their servers. I had a really bad experience with hostdime. Websites which were hosted on my reseller account were down for a complete week and their support was us saying us to have patience. They don't have any good team in support and their management sucks. I call them as hostshit.

    • And the last thing...I want to know the secret of the ticket handling.As per my knowledge HostDime India has just 4 - 8 staff and six among them are from technical team.I think if they work on shift basis 2-4 employs will be there to help us in a particular period .Then how is it possible to the small group of staff to help us in such a quick and perfect manner ?That impresses me


    If I open a ticket on other hosts, it will be handled by 3-5 employs interfering in it.
    They ask repeated questions

    They delays resolution time and we lose the patience with the funny attitude of the employs

    Where in the case of HostDime,I never see a ticket being handled by more than two employs.It never delayed more than 24 hours

    Well I want to know the success secret of HostDime

    I rate 5/5 for their support

    Server Downage :

    Never ever had the problem

    Sales : I would rate 1/5 for the sales related support. Compared to the technical support, this department makes me feel unhappy.

    The problem may be with their website Interface ...

    • The site has some broken links, missing contents.In many cases the staff failed to reply me with the details
    • They don't have Idea on their own programs (Ex: Affiliate program)
    • They don't have Idea on their own coupon codes (It was my first issue with them)
    • Some services are mentioned on their site and the employs say the service is not offered (Ex: Software licenses )
    • Delay in responding sales related questions.I have one issue and that caused me lose $36.


    But I can understand this.It may not be possible for the sales team to look at all the areas and the staff may not have the updated information about their programs. Other than that sales Dpt issue, HostDime is superb and the best hosting provider
    Never trust on hostdime they are big cheaters and liars. As you can see from their response that their technical team is very bad they don't know anything about server management and moreover they are lying as well. From February 2011 to the 1st week of March 2011 the hostdime server was down for 12 days and even it is still not up. Now we have moved many of our clients to another server because of ****, bad, cheap, dirty awful, dreadful, painful, terrible, unspeakable, mediocre, incompetent, unskilled, crappy, lousy, rotten, poor and stinky services of hostdime. Think 100 times before selecting hostdime.

    So you are referring to HostDime (UK), and not HostDime (Orlando DC, US). Is that correct?

    If I may ask, how long have you been with HostDime?

    I enjoyed reading your review of hostdime, even though i have never heard or seen anything of this company, its always nice to see the support team backing up the service. The sales support issues you mentioned need to be addressed and maybe you could send an email with the issues you faced and ask hostdime to address these issues for future reference.

    Not to derail this thread but I would like to address some of your concerns. Firstly, if you have a ticket, please PM it to me so I can check into your issues. We have been having issues recently with a single reseller server of our UK branch but we have been working diligently to fix the server and keep our clients informed of the situation. Secondly, We have never stated or say that our support team is in the UK. We have a UK Phone Number to enable our clients easier ability to call our support, but our support for the UK is and has always been based out of our Orlando Offices. I apologize if you feel you were misled but it was not our intention. Finally, while we do have a branch in India, none of our level 1 or 2 support or sales is based out of India. We only have a few third level technicians in that office and they are only of the highest quality.

    Guessed that they are third level technicians. But the support I get would be the best. So that's enough for me to be happy

    To add, we also have Level 1 Support and Sales staff in our HostDime India Office but they only service the HostDime India branch. I was merely talking about the few staff the branches share that do third level work, along with staff across all of our branches. We like to leverage our staff skills wherever they may be to work on third level issues.
