Best Live Chat software?

I'm using LiveZilla for my website right now, I've tried Live Help Messenger, the WHMCS addon but it was buggy and dropped some of the messages my users sent, which completely destroys the support between me and my visitors.
Then I used ProvideSupport but I didn't really like their software in whole..

What is the best live chat software to you guys?

I personally like LivePerson, but I don't have the money to purchase it sadly.

Are you having issues with LiveZilla right now?

Liveperson is the best, but if you need a more affordable solution Kayako is the way to go.

LiveZilla is fine with me, and it's what I like personally... But I would want to invest in a paid software, as people see that your using licensed software, which brings customers...

I am sticking with LiveZilla until I get money for LivePerson probably, Kayako seems nice though.

As a quick note, LivePerson is usually pretty quick to offer a 50% monthly recurring discount to new potential clients (and sometimes on retentions).

Dead serious? I did not know this, what are their rates without the discount?

They usually quote $99 monthly per concurrent operator seat initially. For new sign-ups, they tend to offer $49 monthly per concurrent operator fairly quickly.

On retentions, it's usually $99 -> $75 -> $49 or sometimes $99 -> $49.

I've played with a lot of live chat systems. I really don't care for Kayako, liveperson is a good platform to use.

Personally, I did not care much for Kayako. Felt it was too much overkill just for live chat.

Mikeambrose3, are you still looking for live chat software where you run the 'server' portion on your own server(s), or did you want to go with something hosted instead? As lynxus mentioned there are cheaper alternatives - just depends on what features you need.
