    Help with server specs

I need to know the specs of a couple servers. I need to know the following for both,

    1. Is it single or dual core
    2. Does it come with one cpu or two cpu's?

    The description is this,
Dual Processor Intel Xeon 3Ghz and
    Dual Processor AMD Opteron 2.2Ghz

So I was wondering if the dual processor meant there was 2 cpu's in the unit or if it was dual core. Also what cpu is better?

Yes, Dual Processor means there are 2 CPUs in each server. I doubt those are old CPUs, and they're single core. Xeon 3.0GHz is better.

I agree, the Xeon will be faster than the Opteron.
But keep in mind it are pretty old CPU's and you should find higher performance servers for same price.
