    Monitor your Cluster of Servers

    Hello,

I plan to have a very very stable dedicated server to monitor all my other servers, such as I/O usage, mysql, nginx and such. (Nagios, etc)

What setup do you recommend me? Try to be as much detailed as possible.

    Thank you in advance,

Nagios can do everything you mentioned. And more. I have it monitoring a ton of stuff right now.

    Hello Dougy,

    Thank you for your reply!

That's exactly what I'm looking for

What modules/plugins do you use? I'm not good at nagios configs at all!
    I'm a quick learner though

    MrGeneral,

Checkout Plugins at the following URL. You'll have a ton to choose from.

    Hello Techy!

I like his setup, I'm kinda interested to know exactly his plugins, to have a setup like he does.

Stock config with a NRPE install, check_rbl, and a couple modules like check_3ware, and one to manage LSI 1068 RAID (mptstatus etc).

Of course with email notify etc.
