After running my hosting business for 10 years, I have some shared hosting clients for sale. I am a reseller, so all my clients are across several ResellerZoom WHM accounts. According to my WHMs, the number of accounts is as follows:
52 X Kilo ($3/mo or $36/yr): $1872/yr
22 X Mega ($5/mo or $51/yr): $1122/yr
11 X Giga ($10/mo or $102/yr): $1122/yr
4 X Basic ($80-100/yr): ~$320/yr
3 X reseller accounts at ~$40/mo: ~1440/yr
and also some domains at $9.99/yr
(Many of these are repeat customers, so "accounts" =/= clients.)
So potential total hosting income = $5876 per year, in general using the annual payment as default because I don't know how many pay per monthly vs annually.
This is if all of the accounts are active, which I'm not sure they are (read: it is definite a chunk are not). I haven't been ensuring everyone's credit card details are up to date, haven't been paying attention to payments that haven't gone through, etc. Basically I have been pretty neglectful of this business for the past year (RZ handles the support emails so the clients are all happy I swear) and am finally cutting it loose.
All my clients have been with me for at least a year, as I haven't been accepting new ones for at least that long. So if they're still around by this point, they'll probably stick around forever.
I use 2checkout and PayPal to accept payments, and they tell me that over the past year total income was
$2714, so let's go with that. However in the past I used to go through every 3-6 months and ask people to update their details, remind them to pay, etc. That would usually result in a big jump in income. I haven't done that for over a year now, so that figure could easily go up.
Given the disorganisation and lack of clarity I'm not sure what would be a fair asking BIN, so at this point I'm open to suggestions and offers.
Oh if anyone has has any questions I'll be happy to answer them... or try to
