    Worldstream.nl kaputt?

    Lost connection to both my servers, and their site suddenly doesnt work. Any one know whats going on?!

    Can't phone them either. "Telephone number doesn't exist"

    I am able to access their website from multiple locations. Maybe it's just a temporary problem with your ISP.

    This is the phone number on their website: +31 (0)174 712 117. Is it the same one that you tried to call?

    Yeah. Same number. However i can now connect to one of the servers, their site is still down.
    This is however the first problem i've experienced. So no worries. I'm sure this will either get sorted, or that it's on my end. A friend in uk have the same problems though. Could be europe?

    All the locations I am accessing their website from is within Europe. Their website isn't down and hopefully your servers aren't either.

    That's two day in a row, i've got the same problem as well yesterday.

    We will see tomorrow, maybe some power outage?!

    Their website and servers are online so it must be some connectivity issue with your ISP. Have you tried contacting their support via e-mail ([email protected]) ?

    No, there was definetly an issue the site load fine because the issue was about 15 minute today and yesterday around the same hour.

    Out of 4 servers 3 was affected for me and i think the one not affected is in the first WorldStream DC when other are on the new one.

    Our WS server works as a monitoring station for a bunch of servers and VPS located in several European countries. Checking the logs there isn´t any network issue registered.
    You will only find out how good a provider is when the going gets tough

    You probably are on 1st WS DC that's why, the outage was confirmed by WorldStream earlier anyway.

    Case closed though. It's up and running. They should add an "english" option though on the phone voice IVR.

Our core router was under serious DDoS attacks on the core IP which caused the router to close the BGP session. The issue has been solved now with help of our transit provider, Fiberring.     Just because it's a bit cheaper, and they have a server I would like.

    Is this a repetitive issue or did it just happen once? If it is a one-time occurrence, then you might want to hold your horses a bit?!

    I recommend anyone that is looking to rent at worldstream to do so, I've used them for well over half a year and have had ONE problem with their network. Which last for about 15 minutes at MOST.

    Their support is REALLY good for the price I pay. I always get a reply to my emails at the same day, sometimes even within 5-30 minutes. No longer then 3-8 hours at the moment.

    Don't let this "outage" scare you away. Worldstream is my provider and will still be my only provider.
    Fast customer support
    Fast deployment (atleast for me if you order before after around 1 pm.
    Good stability & hardware
    FRIENDLY staff!

    I'll make a review later and try to include as much as i can!

    I will second that. We have servers with them for nearly 2 years now and not a single complain.

    Network outage do happen and this should not take you off. Worldstream has always had a good uptime.

    It's not for personal use This is my own experience though. Others might have different kind of feedback. I'll leave it to this. I'm satisfied. And I believe others should give worldstream a try.
