Exclamation We need good USA dedicated (20+ servers)

    Hello

We need this dedicated server on a long term basis:

    18 servers Intel core2quad q8300 2.50Ghz, 6Gb ddr3, 2x500Gb Sata (or better)

    1 server 2xIntel Xeon E5620 2.40Ghz, 32Gb ddr3, 128Gb SSD, 2x1Tb Sata (or better)

Sata 3.5 Storage (something like QNAP TS-809U-RP) with 5 Sata 1Tb HDD (or better)

External good 1Gb Internet channel with consumed traffic billing (2,5Tb monthly)

    1Gb local ethernet network

Every month we will need 12 more servers like the first one. Also we will have additional 1 Tb monthly traffic consumption growth.

    DC should be in USA

24x7x365 technical support required with both tickets and phone options.

    Thank you!

Your requirement can be fulfilled by any decent provider in the US. Do you know which located in the US you want your servers to be?

Where are most of your servers located? What is your mode of business?

What are the servers going to be used for? You'll need 12 new servers monthly? I'm sure you can get a really nice discount for the purchase of many servers from any company.

We are online game publishers and are going going to release our games on US market.

At this moment all our servers are placed in Eastern Europe.

Yes, we will need 12 new servers monthly for the first 7 month.

    <<snipped>>

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Grigor,

There are many quality hosting providers that can assist you with this request. The find a host section will be useful for you as well. Question for you, what region of US would you say that most of traffic is coming from? Do you prefer to be located on the East or West Coast?

Any host should be able to make you a deal, just contact them for a custom quote.

If this is for games, you might do better to have more than one server location / datacenter. For lower latency, it might be good to have an east coast and west coast location at least.

How the hell you going to utilize 20+ servers with 1-2tb of bw.. you need 100-200tb if your doing game releases.

Can you clarify the estimated traffic? You're planning to start at 2.5TB monthly per server, but you believe that it will increase by 1TB monthly per server? Do you mean 3.5TB the second month, 4.5TB the third month, etc.? Or am I mis-understanding?

It sounds like 1tb monthly total. And not for game releases, for game servers.

Just what it sounded like to me.

which location you want to prefer at this time in US ?

any decent provider should be able to provide these servers, it's not like you are asking 100 servers in a week time sort.

Check out leeware.com. They like to sell servers in bulk. But I don't think they have the exact configuration that you need.

I agree with Andrew, theres probably 100 here easy that would love to have your business. However I think at your size you want to make sure your with a provider thats not reselling for some other provider. Be careful to research that deep and stick to hosts that have been around a while. Hundreds of hosts collapse every month.

Based on these being gameservers, you probably want to select a provider with multiple locations, so you can provide service in multiple locations to your clients, as that will improve gaming performance.

Check out Layer42, they can help you with everything you need. If you're doing gaming you'll want to do a detailed analysis of your network and capacity, they're pretty good with that.

That's right go to the source, deal directly iwith the datacenters. Don't go with resellers and probably not even colocators.

What are your primary goals or concerns in finding a provider? What things are most important to you, support levels, supplemental services, flexibility, speed in setup, low latency, geographic location, reliability/redundancy, etc.?

    I highly recommend ColocateUSA.

Ryan and his crew are fantastic with their support, have rock-solid power and data networks, and are always available for support calls.

If you do not see the servers you need on their website, call them. They can spec it out custom for you.
