Progressive insurance help.


I'm trying to drop full coverage and only keep liability or whatever is required by law when i log into progressive i can only select

other than collision - None......was at $500
collision - none.......was at $500

My local agent is gone for two weeks!

That's what i'm asking is dropin other than collision and collision going to give me liability only.

If you drop comprehensive and collision, you're basically at liability only, yes.

FYI, you can probably raise the deductibles to $1000 to save some money, or even $2000.

NOTE: If the car is financed, I believe that you must have comprehensive/collision.

Edit: Even if your agent is gone, Progressive should be able to do the needed changes over the phone. Their customer service reps are helpful.

Thanks for the help, i didn't think about calling them on the phone my agent is hard to get a hold of.

Car is paid for and just old no longer needs full coverage. I didn't want to wait two weeks if i can get some money back.
