i never expected to write a revie, ever
but these guys really pissed me off
i been with them for approx 5-6 months or so
vps is good although i been having some problems with the pinging here in kuwait but thats not their fault
but when it comes to their support... wow
the thing is that they answer within minutes
but the important of thing is that their responds are totally useless
any kloxo related issues ( even if you havnt changed anything from your side ) its your problem to fix
any help you need fixing any problem , its not their job
i was a little disappointed but understood their point until 3 days
my vps goes down for approx 24 hours due to an error from their part
the node comes back alive... but the kloxo isnt working
after a day of trying to get them to even consider seeing whats wrong they told me its a problem with the networking and that i have to rebote it
i tryed to via the console and i am getting the config file is missing..
and now after all there telling me its my problem.. and i should just get the backup from them and re install the whole OS by myself...
WTF, why is are they calling the VPS's half managed i dunno, why they even have a support system i seriously dont know
i am hiring some one to fix this thing and moving the hell away after this ( please PM if you can help )
bottom line : if youre not a gurro who dont need any help managing your vps -> STAY AWAY
Sorry to hear about your issues any how most companies will install Kloxo for you if you picked it as a control panel upon ordering how ever since it is a 3rd partie some wont support it, you would have to review there TOS to see if they support 3rd parties.
I'd be interested to hear Andrew's side of this. It sounds to me like miscommunication on both parts. Also, @a7medo778, most providers don't provide support for 3rd-party control panels and services - and respecting that is part of being a client. As far as the network thing goes, I think we would benefit from hearing what Andrew has to say.
I'm sure Andrew and company will take care of you - just keep being patient.
There's nothing much we can do in a situation like this, The client was under the impression a Chicago outage from weeks ago left his kloxo unsable however a 2 week old outage would not effect his kloxo now considering it was online less than 24 hours ago.
The only viable explanation available was he was compromised and someone deliberately removed the server files. Which is not our fault and we offered to assist the client in any way possible to help him get his websites back online, Including restore any previous backups he had as well as re-install kloxo or any panel of his choice.
We offered every open solution available to assist him and none were an avenue for him since he did not maintain any backups. He is more than welcome to look for backups and if he is able to find any we will gladly stick to our word and re-install any panel of his choice and restore them for him.
