    gofindus is gone?

    i tried my lcuk with this company
    first month we got fast service and everything was ok
    now its almost a week we can not get help even for simple question. no answer for almost a week.
    the guy that sell this company here said he is not working there any more and we can not get a hole of anybody in the company to solve our samll problem.
    i am sure we have here many customer of gofindus.com can some one suggest me what is the real situation with the company and what can i do now?

    Its really slow for me...
    Try their live chat...

    And my new ticket has a Priority of Low, I find that slightly offensive.

    If they aren't fulfilling your needs, backup & run!

    the problem is not the slowness or can not reach it

    problem is that there is no support at all!
    i am waiting a week now for simple request that take 2 minutes to solve. is it normal to not to get respond to ticket after so long time?

    I got a sales person, who, didn't know a lot... Also the ticket i opened hasn't been responded to yet...

    Its not normal and should be avoided...

    Yes its slow, if they are not responding to your ticket it means their support service is very poor or dont care about the existing customer. If this is the case then no need to stay there. You can move out from there.

    That is not acceptable.
    Support tickets should be answered in 12 hours.
    Many hosts offer free websites transfer for cpanel hosting.
    It's very easy to switch host. If you don't want to move yet, make sure you back up your websites.

    my website hosted on gofindus server not working for past 3 days, they are not replying my emails and tickets. no live chat. even Cpanel is not opening, so even if think of switching host, it is not possible.. too bad

    Their site loaded quickly for me, but it seems to have mis-rendered in some way...80% of the page loads, but then the remaining 20% hangs for about 20-30 seconds.

    I seriously hope that them being gone is not true. A lot of my important sites are hosted with them. My websites have been down for the past 2 days too and I haven't got any reply.

    Also, there used to be a live chat, but I can no longer find the link.

    is there what to do in such case?

    i mean. looks like they use this great forum (WHT) to collect many customers. take the money and disappear. must be way to stop such thing. isnt it? is there way to sue them? do we know who is the owner? can we find more info about them? please suggest ways how to solve them and how to prevent such people to use this great forum to steal our money.
    of course its also our fault that we didn't check well before. but still must be a way to stop such crime.

    yes i agree with you, it happen twice with me. now i hesitate to buy hosting plan from anyone at this forum who is not a big name.

    There has to be an explanation for this as I've never experienced anything of this sort from them. I've been hosting my sites with them since Oct 2010 and had no problems till now.

    Even if they are going down, I hope they atleast give me the backup files for all of my sites. I'll be a goner if they don't.

    hello everybody!

    Just found this thread and wanted to share my experiences with gofindus.

    I have a hosting package since january 2011. Never had any problems.

    Since almost three days my website is GONE... they didn't left a message not do they reply to my 5 support tickets... that really sucks.

    I am losing hundreds of dollars daily because of their inacceptable service.. I even can not create a backup!!

    Is there any chance to sue them? I am really mad right now and don't know what to do! I think if we can get together we can seriously sue them for the horrible service...

    we can also contact paypal and ask them not to pay them i guess. and give us back the money.
    paypal dont pay them immediately isn't it?
    please check paypal payment to them and find info about company.
    i am just too busy and not in the US to deal with this.

    But I think its time that you...Go and Find Us...I mean find new provider .

    Just joking pal, but seriously I hope that you have a backup to transfer.
    Ask for Server IP & Nameservers IP to check if your reseller provider truly provides 100% white-label.

    I just sent them another message stating that I will report that to paypel within the next hours if I do not receive a message.

    I think if more paypal contact paypal concerning this they will keep the money until gofindus gives us a statement..

    I'd rather have my websites back than getting a refund. This is seriously pissing me off too, but maybe they have a valid reason for doing this. I seriously hope that when I wake up tomorrow, all my sites are up and I have a mail with explanation.
    Of course, I wished for the same thing when I went to bed yesterday.

    well i think thier meaning with their name is

    first pay us. and better 1 year in advance then Go FIND US
    and now we are trying to find them. a pitty i didnt underdtand it in advance
    can not even log in to donwload the backup from them.

    7 days now about.
    so i lost my patience any more.

    well the story is like that.
    i got in touch with the guy that sold him this company accounts.
    he told me that his ex wife is the owner of the company.
    and since she divorce from him now
    she kicked him out of the office and the house and changed the phone numbers etc..
    nad if he will try to go to the office or touch the servers he will go to jail since she is the owner
    and looks like she dont care at all.
    he was very polite and said i am alowed to contact him when ever i need him but he can not do much.
    he told me that the server is on quadra.net and if we contact the data center they maybe help us at least take our backups from there...

    It's unfair that their divorce is affecting us all. Surely, a company that has been online for over 5 Years should know better. Can you share me his mail address? I'd love to talk with him regarding the backup. I don't care about getting the refund. It's the sites that are important for me.

    i also dont need the refund at all
    i thoght via paypal we can put some pressure on them to give us our account backups
    i dont have his email. i have his phone number. i dont know if its ok to give it here....

    Unhappy i can call him again and ask him to come over here

    but if he wanted to do so he would do it already.
    he explained me again and again that there is nothing he can do.
    he just told me that i can try and contact quadra.net company.
    what he said that he is now alowed to tocch anything can can not do nothing in is ex wife company or he will got to jail
    actually i think i understood from him that he is reading us over here but he can't help in anyway.
    at the phone he sound very nice and helpfull guy. but as he explained he can not do nothing. we should find way to contact his ex wife. but he said she changed all her phone numbers during this divorce war he have with her.
    maybe some one here have better english then my lame one and call the data center to help us get our backup outta there?

    Is it quadra.net or quardranet.com? I don't find any website associated with the former. Yes, I understand I'd be feeling a helpless if I were in his shoes, but it'd be cool if he atleast PMs me regarding this.

    1. He can at least contact us here to give us a personal statement.. this is just too lame..

    2. Why should his wife (no matter if she hates him or not) destroy her own business just because of the divorce? there's no logic behind that...

    3. How the hell does he think can we contact quadranets datacenter and tell them that the admin of gofindus is in a divorce, please give us backups of the following websites... this is just ridiculous..

    I don't believe anything he says until he gives contacts us here.. at least..

    1. Like I said, I understand why he doesn't post here. He's thinking (and maybe he's right) that the minute he comes on, he'll be pounced upon like Hyenas on an injured deer.. Well, you get the idea.

    i dont want to post his number here. i still belive him despite you ask very good questions i have no answer. but i can not post him phone number here as i had been asked since he was so polite,, but anyone that realy want can find his phone. i am not a genius and found it easily with some searched in my emails from them and some web searched and as i found it - every one here must find it easily

    Ok I contacted Paypal right now... I suggest you guys do this as well!

    By the way, I already talked to a lawyer (I'm losing hundreds of $ daily now, and I can proof that) and we will take legal action if we do not get a message finally.

    P.S. Just took a look at their website and they still accept new orders... this is really really poor...
