GIT access for Jailed shell user?

I have managed to install GIT on the server but the problem is that a user who has jailed shell access wants to be able to clone a repository once he's ssh'd onto the server.

    e.g. running: git clone git://eagain.net/gitosis.git
gives the error: "index-pack is not a git -command"...

Now, I can clone as root without any problems, but the user can't.

Any ideas how I can allow user to be able to do this, without giving him full shell access?

Jailshell doesn't have access to the script files used by git in /usr/local/libexec.

    How can I fix this?
