You also need to list your HD and BW requirements, as well.

The difference between managed and unmanaged is if you have a problem with the VPS (more then the hardware) you would be responsible for fixing it. If its managed then the host provide would assist you in fixing the problems.

Again I say check out hostdime.. They are in Orlando, FL and they are managed.

Not a problem! If you don't know much on how to manage your VPS in terms of security etc.. then you should get it managed .

What is the reason for unlimited bandwidth? What exactly will you be hosting?

If you don't need "unlimited bandwidth" then there is no need. With your budget you can get a Managed VPS. You have to look around more and do re-search .

That means you will not be billed for any traffic/bandwidth usage (essentially unlimited). The speed shows how fast the link is, a faster link will allow faster speeds and larger traffic/bandwidth usage.

    - 10 Mbps unmetered will approximately provide speeds up to 1MB/s (1 megabyte per second), and assuming 100% outgoing utilization 24/7 a total of approximately 3300GB monthly traffic.
    - 100 Mbps: up to 10MB/s speed, up to 33000GB monthly
    - 1000 Mbps: up to 100MB/s speed, up to 330000GB monthly
Exceptional VPS Hosting. With love, 6sync.

"Unmetered" is a sales pitch. It means there is no set limit, like for instance 100 gigabytes or 150 gigabytes per month, but you are allowed the "full use" of the bandwidth. 10Mbps equates to 3.3TB per month. I'm assuming 100Mbps is 33TB per month and 1Gbps is 330TB per month.

This looks alluring but if you are using that much bandwidth, it means you must be receiving a lot of visitors but you would need more disk space or RAM.

    VPS3-US looks decent.

(Edit: lol beat me to the punch. I had to get up to turn the A/C on during mid post)

Compare Wooservers VPS#4 with xvps VPS3-us, please?

  23. #23
Can some one review this service:
    http://321hosted.com/unmeteredvps.html

    And can someone tell me?
Which is suit for professional hosting business:
    10Mbps 100Mbps or 1Gbps Unmetered VPS

  24. #24
    WooServers VPS #4

    - 1.5GB more RAM
    - 60gb more hard drive
    - 1 more TB of bandwidth
    - $1.99 more than XVPS

    XVPS
    - Gigabit uplink compared to WooServers' 100Mbps uplink
    - Extra IP address

$60 for Unmetered 2048 from 321Hosted for what you can get from WooServers for $29.99 but you get cPanel from 321Hosted. You may be freaked out about bandwidth costs but I have customers on a 1TB per month VPS. I do not even use more than 10 gigabytes per month combined with about 5 clients.

If you want a faster connection, you can get a Gigabit connection with WooServer's Elite package for $54.99 with similar specs but a faster CPU and 4TB compared to the 2TB.

The plan for his budget is $69, clearly over his budget of $40
