Hello, everyone! I would simply like to share my negative experience with UnderHost. I signed up for a hosting account with them I think in 2009. Almost every few days my website had downtime for one reason or the other. Their server cpu/memory usage in cPanel seemed to be always high when my website was down. I submitted several tickets, they always had a reason for the downtime but still I did not care and gave them a chance. After several downtimes, one day comes when their server was being DDOS I believe. I do not know what they were using to stop it but all my visitors and including me could not access my website. My ip was banned and my visitors, it was blocking legimate traffic. After creating a ticket and talking to them, they could not solve the issue. Instead they provided me a refund and suspended my account without notice. Now I know I should have offline backups but I didn't and once they suspended my account I could not backup my website since I had no access to cPanel. I created several tickets after, requesting my account backups but they simply closed my tickets. All of this can be seen in the screenshots provided in this post below. No backup was provided till this day, I do not need it anymore as I have gave up on them. This review is simply to inform other people that are thinking of signing up with UnderHost to once again think before you make a decision.

Summary:
UnderHost had lots of downtime and instead of finding a solution they simply suspended my account and did not provide me a backup.

My mistake I had no backups but I geuss I learned the hard way.

Check your email back in 2009, the website was suspended due to abusive language towards staff via email you should post screenshot about that instead, the abuse team make the right decision on your case.

I suppose that is really good option to have web host which cares of the back ups, but in any case I suppose that is personal and that if what you need to take care from your end as well.

I have been with Underhost for several months and find them very good. Good friendly support and good uptime. In fact Im planning to soon open another website with them. That is my experience with them and Id be happy to refer a friend to them.

Did they ever say why they suspended your account and more importantly, why they did not let you get a back-up for your websites. Its great that they gave you a refund, however they definitely should have let you get a back-up of your website before suspending your site.
