If you have a virus in your virus vault you can delete it if you'd like. It's safe in there regardless. Sometimes it won't let you delete something because there is a conflict or it will harm another file or something like that.

    Short answer: Yes delete it.

The Virus Vault is there so that you can decide if the program needs to be replaced, once deleted, or is quite often the case a fake and can be safely deleted without any further action

Never heard of AVG? I've been using it for almost a decade. It's THE best free anti-virus software out there. I install it on all my customers computers and servers and never of had a problem.

The also have a paid version for servers, but I just get away with the free one :-D

I don't really like AVG, I would prefer Avast!, I think it's ways better then AVG. e.g. Interface, Virus Database, etc.

Is Avast is really good anti-virus I generally prefer Total security.

Try ESET Anti-Virus, it doesn't effect the system performance like many other anti viruses.

It doesnt really matter if you delete or not because it is no harm to anyone there and if you dont delete the AVG will automatically delete it in a number of days anyways
