Question

host used their email to register domain

A friend of mine recently had a bad experience with UnixHoster.com. 6 months ago he signed up with them and let them register his domain.

On their site, there is no mention of if they will put all of your info in the whois - or not. They didn't put his e-mail in the whois. His Name and Address are in the whois though (for all of the contacts). They put their sales e-mail.
So, that means that he never received the domain registration e-mail and has no enom login info. Yes, it is an enom reseller.

Now, 6 months later, they have cancelled his account after he paid for 12 months. Without a valid reason.

What actions can be taken?

He has contacted both the host and enom. Is there anything else?

Thanks.
