    fstab deleted file help?

I accidentally deleted the file called "fstab,v" not "fstab"
    The files location was /etc/fstab,v

Can someone let me know if it is very important file and what its used for & how to restore?, as my server seems to be running fine, but I don't want to get into any problems later down the line.

If you deleted the file /etc/fstab,v and the file /etc/fstab is still present then you have nothing to worry about. It's more of a temp file that shows changes made to it, it's 100% safe to delete. :]
