  1. Unhappy IO problem on VPS

    Provider: Hetzner vq7
Everything ran just perfect up until the point when I did
    Code:
    apt-get upgrade
    which installed new:
    Code:
    Preparing to replace linux-image-2.6.26-2-amd64 2.6.26-26lenny1
After that, serious disk IO delays started to appear. The web sites that have not been loaded for long time, take some 10 seconds to load files from disk at the first time. Webmin loads slow... even ssh login became slow at some cases. in $top, they are all often only using 'wa' class cpu, eg. waiting for IO. The average load before was mostly 0.00, now it's always at least 0.20 for 5min.
So it seems to be not related to any certain package.

Any ideas or suggestions how to get better understanding what's wrong?

I guess I'll write them the same letter but I assume it's more of my own problem...
