    123Systems web hosting/domain propagation

    Hello,

I have been using 123Systems VPS's and they are great. All of my support tickets were answered very quickly. After some time I got some affiliates, and used the money to purchase web hosting and a new domain. They said the domain would propagate within 24-48 hours, but I have waited more than 48 hours and it still won't show up. I sent them a support ticket yesterday, but they still haven't answered. Any help?

    Thanks,
    Dewaffler

    Also:
I am on their $2/mo. web hosting plan

I suppose you are happy with what you've got from here. But i just wanna share just in case you may have a second thought about your host. I have been into yahoo domain and its really working great for me. I am happy with the services they have offered me at a very low price. So if you may wanna check them out then feel free.

That can take up to 72 hours but from what I've experienced it usually takes about 30 to 60 minutes.

It generally depends on the caching settings of the system you're on and your ISP's caching policies for DNS if you're using their nameservers.

I generally suggest Google Public DNS for those who want to see quick propagation.

Have you verified with a web proxy?

They say 24-48 hours but it's usually 24-48 minutes

I'll shed some light on the actual problem here since the OP is not keeping up with the thread, The issue was not propagation it was our fault. We swapped over our main site to a new web server and forgot to update our registrar API Key's IP address and the domain was not registered like it should have been because our site's new IP wasn't an assigned IP to the API key. So we had to contact the registrar and get the new IP added so the client could manage the domain from WHMCS etc.

All it well now though and it has been settled.
