Q. Are there any backups in place?
A. Our Budget VPS line comes with space for one backup on our Central Backup servers. This helps keep the prices down for those who need the lower cost. However, for $10/month, we will gladly hold up to five backups of your account. You have complete backup control to take and restore backups from within the VPS Control Panel once activated on your account.
Q. What's the cost of additional snapshot style backups?
A. $10/month per 5 backups
Q. Will you convert existing customers to the new cloud once available?
A. Due to the differences in architecture, we can not do a simple conversion. We'll gladly provide you with another instance on the Cloud at a matched price for the first six months of Cloud service, however.
Q. Which distributions are available? The plan comparison page lists many, but the drop-down in the order form lists only a few.
A. There are some uncommon linux distributions that aren't included on the primary order form. They are available in the control panel and it takes less than 60 seconds to reload your OS if you'd like to use them.
