Cisco ASA vs Juniper SSG revisited
I am moving a web server to a collocation facility and would like to place the server behind a hardware firewall. The server is running VMware with Windows and Linux virtual machines.
I'm trying to decide between a Cisco ASA 5505 and Juniper SSG 5. I saw other discussions on this topic but they are a few years old.
Can anyone offer recommendations and their experience with either device used in this setting?
Are the limits on maximum number of connections anything to be concerned with?
The data connection is 100Mb/s burstable.

I'd say use the Cisco ASA. The SSG 5 runs the old Screen OS which is hard to work with in the CLI. Cisco still updates their code, and you'll be able to find more configuration examples online.
