What am i doing wrong here?:)

Hello,

I have VPS running PPTP.

VPS has one IP address.

There is CSF installed and configured.
PPTP + CSF works okay, i am able to browse, do anything online.

Problem is this:
When i connect to VPN i am unable to SSH to VPS.

I am not sure if this is happening because its 'local' ip or what?

I have dynamic IP at home, and ssh is only accepting connections from VPS's IP and one more (secondary VPN for tests - different server).

How can i fix this? When connected to VPN running on VPS to be able to SSH with the same IP.

I hope you understand what i mean, and what the problem is.

Please advise,
s-f-r-j

I guess you are using NAT in order to have internet access after connected to PPTP.
You could try to add one more IP to this VPS and then connect to that IP while connected to PPTP.

This should work with only one IP if you don't use DNAT on your VPS.

Yes,

That should fix this issue , since then it will be using a new IP that will be added.
