Best Client Server Antivirus software?

can you name a few good Antivirus Client/Server Solutions for my company?
I have looked at Symantec Endpoint but have founded it to be a little resource hungry on the clients machines.

Perhaps NOD32? It's pretty resource efficient.

My favorite is Trend Micro. I have also used Sophos as this has a client for Mac as well. Not sure if trend has a mac client.
Both have support for the end client, server as well as messaging server (Exchange?) so provide a good spread of protection. I would also suggest getting anti-virus for your firewall/gateway so as to add another layer of protection.
Another important point is to ensure that Windows updates are applied as worms often exploit these holes.

I had very bad experience with Avira Antivirus.
I would like to suggest Kaspersky.

Avast is my all time favorite Antivirus and did not face any problem with it regarding antivirus detection. And it takes less resource as well.

Bit defender can also prove as a very good option for security related to Desktops.
