People-host is going under changes and will be hosting its own servers! Please wait till our new post as the other offers are not valid! Thankyou Regards People-host

No flaming from me , but honestly, I think if you will search the forums, you will see umlimited is impossible and is misleading. I would consider changing that offer around, before flaming does start. Some people are not as nice about things as others, at least not when it comes to offers such as this.

Data Transfer : Unlimited 10Mbit
The correct term for this would be unmetered 10 MBIT, or dedicated 10 MBIT connection.

people-host.com is hosted on fdcservers... but the specs on those boxes seems an awful lot like unitedcolo... which "datacenter" are these boxes in?

if unitedcolo, should update your site regarding the uptime guarantee... unitedcolo doesn't offer that anymore i don't think...

and why should they do that netdude? they can offer any sla they want. just because their supplier doesnt offer one doesnt mean they cant. it just means they have to take the risk of having to pay out.

but with an SLA, a client presumes some level of safety... some level of quality to expect from a provider... i am sure they could just as easily put a 100% uptime guarantee and have some stupid provision for compensation... but does that mean the service is going to be around 100%? for clients that signup with sites critical to their own business hoping for 100%, its going to be quite disappointing.

You could also go directly to http://www.unitedcolo.com and save some money but remember to read about UCG before you order one of their servers.

This same person has been trying to sell these dedicated servers many times. Same servers, same type of replies. I think all of you are wasting your time posting here.

cyberthug - I hope your problem gets fixed in the near future although I wouldnt expect it.

People-host - Why dont you reply to your own thread?

fancube, that was kinda uncalled for... let the guy do his business instead of posting URLs and telling others to go direct and save a buck... there are many benefits of going through a reseller... such as higher tolerance to complaints from the providers/etc/etc/etc... for example, one of my freehost boxes had a piracy complaint... (someone had uploaded a few MB worth of pirated songs to a freehosted site...)... n instead of UCG cancelling the server... all they did was reformat the box and delete all 60,000 member accounts...
