WHMCS alternatives

I am having a hell of a time getting any support from WHMCS. It is very concerning to me in that our billing system is running on this software.

What alternatives are out there for WHMCS? I'm afraid if I can't rely on their support then it's time to find something else. really a shame

not even the courtesy of a reply in several days. The last thing I wanted to do was switch billing systems (again), but I just know this is going to come back to haunt me if I don't resolve the issue right away before a bigger issue manifests itself.

thank you

WHMcs is one of the best billing scripts around, There are alternatives such as, Clientexec, HostBillApp and you can try out phpCoin witch is free. But out of all these four I would rate WHMcs number one then Clientexec number 2 and then comes HostBillApp and phpCoin..

Please let me know what you think about these scripts and witch one your going to use if you use one of them.

direct customer of multiple licenses. opened a ticket on 1/27 regarding a problem with liberty reserve payments. received a reply later that night to upgrade to 4.4.2, which was what caused the problem in the first place. replied back same day and also opened a new ticket regarding the new amazon payments plugin requesting info. I had the tickets merged but no further replies.

It is very concerning because we rely on them for the billing system, and I agree it is a very nice system. but the best system with no support is not worth the paper it's not even printed on.

I am very disappointed and concerned to say the least. not to mention our LR payments are intermittent.

Doesn't sound the norm... Matt is extremely fast at providing support and even custom patches on short notice. There must be something else going on here.

HostBill all the way... am a big fun! after spend months of testing WHMCS and HostBill was the winner.

Admin area is not something WOW in terms of design but in logic is quite good.
Dev-Kit and API very powerful - wait for the new amazing version.
Hosting - Payment - Domains Module are quite enough:

30+ Hosting modules just for starter
60+ payment gateways just for starter
20+ Domain Registrars just for starter

Check for your self:

1. Order forms
2. Enom SSL Order forms
3. OnAPP Support
3. Support Tickets
4. VPS order forms

and more to come...

I am not a member of HostBill Company - I am a happy client of HostBill after moths of confuse which is the best Hosting Billing App right now!

HostBill is a new app just give a little more time than you think and you will never regret.

p.s. Don't start blame me fun of WHMCS - This is my personal point of view.

HostBill is a good choice. I personally like HostBill better because of the front end.

I've always used WHMCS, but I just checked out the HostBill demo and it looks really nice, especially the order pages.
I don't like the admin though. It seems very cluttered and disorganized compared to WHMCS.

I agree! It's why I posted the question because something was not right.

Matt has finally replied:

As I'm sure you know from the 60+ tickets you've had with us prior to this one, we always provide a very high standard of support. I accept the response on this one has taken a bit of time but we do need time to investigate issues when it's a troubleshooting situation rather than a straightforward question such as in this case

..

So my fears are relieved. It's just a hectict situation here with the payment issue going on in what is easily one of our most popular payment methods. I'm sure you can imagine the tickets we are receiving.

thank you to everyone who responded.

Also you can look at AWBS. Their software has advanced features. It was more popular before than WHMCS.
