Hi,

I was previously associated with a hosting company.

Now i am looking for a Shared/Reseller Host With the following minimum space/Bandwidth.
Space: 3-4 Gb would be quite enough.
Bandwidth: 45GB.

Database:Mysql
PHP and Emails, i can manage via google apps/domains live.


Mainly for my personal use but a reseller account is preferred.
Budget:45$ monthly

Please post the sites names/ suggestions here.

I will be purchasing within a week or so.

What you are looking for is very reasonable. We rarely say this, but your budget is high for what you are looking for so there is no need to spend that .

What type of control panel are you looking for? What type of content will you be hosting?

I would prefer Cpanel or Directadmin.

Content will be a few college/educational and 1 or 2 personal ones related sites having some pics/Videos(youtube embedded)

Forgot to mention that i can pay for 2-3 years at one go if it is a reputed company and has been in business for atleast 5 years.

Then you shouldn't have a hard time finding a web hosting company.

Many hosting companies will probably be able to provide you big discounts if paid upfront for a few years. Will you be transferring from another hosting company?

Yes. But i can transfer my Own data and do not need any help with that.

We found out this morning that there is a browser compatibility issue with our reseller plans. They should all be fixed within 1 hour.

We are also not allowed to post any of our plans here.

Wow, that's quite a (refreshing) budget. You should have no issue finding a reliable host. Two that I have extensive experience with and would recommend checking out are HawkHost and Downtownhost.

Did you mean $45 monthly or $45 yearly?

If it is 45$ Monthly you can go to a vps , If it is 45$ yearly you can go to a shared hosting. I think many hosting providers have packages with that amount of money for their annual payments.

$45 per month is good budget for high end VPS hosting solution. I think you can have a look at that as well.

I have to agree, with that kind of budget per month you would be much better off with a VPS server rather than a reseller account.

Yeah, but it'd be better to offset the budget - get a shared account right now and as the site expands, move up to a VPS. There is really no need to waste money on a VPS.
