It is very likely, with an error like that. It's possible that it's only your file system, though. If you can, I would recommend backing up anything that you don't already have backups for on that drive, getting another server rebuilding (assuming anything serving off of it is still serving) and reboot that one for a file system check.

I rebooted it half an hour ago, still hasn't come back up yet.
/home (OK)
/home2 (OK)
/home3 (I/O error)
/home4 (I/O error)
I don't have any backups of the drive. If I run df -h I can see the drives there using about 80% of the space.

The disks should be tested Promptly after you do a backup ... if you are not running a raided setup and your data is crucial you should always do backups of everything you need .

I think your disks are nead-dead status.
You could check the disks with smartctl tools to see if your disks have many internal errors. If that's the case, be sure your provider replaces your disk(s) fast.
My most urgent advice: make backups immediately!

Smartctl will give you the best idea of the status of each drive.
Try this, after installing the package "smartmontools"
smartctl -A -d ata /dev/sda
Where "ata" is used if it is not a scsi drive or raid member, and "sda" is changed to reflect whatever the actual drive assignment is.

There's just too many files to move. I've ran smartctl on both drives, does not appear to have any errors, so what should I do?
