HostDime

So quickly, with some negative things about HostDime's downtime being said today, I thought I'd take a moment to say something positive.

I've been with HostDime for two months now. Their prices are quite obviously fair, but my feeling is that where they shine is their customer and tech support.

HostDime tech and customer relations has worked with me tirelessly over several rather difficult issues with corrupted databases and so forth as well as performance issues which they went above and beyond to solve.

The amount of tickets I've submitted due to the issues experienced has been truly heroic, and their support is always willing to address any issue I submit.

Thumbs up to HostDime and their tech support.

Thanks, fellas.

I have to agree with you. I've been hosting sites that I design for going on 8 years and with HostDime for the last 4 and I am very happy with their service and uptime. I've been with companies where this would happen monthly... or downtime was days.

Suffice to say, I am not going anywhere--this is way out of the norm for them. Their day-to-day customer service is awesome and I'm sure they've had the day from h@!! right along with us today.

I totally agree with you. I haven't been with Hostdime more than a few months, but I am very impressed with their level of service. Yes, the downtime was horrible, and it affected a lot of people, but I can only imagine what they went through today. We are all human, and humans make mistakes. I can't say that I've seen too many of them from Hostdime. Obviously something went very wrong with the bulletproof plan.

Considering the flurry of activity that had to have happened at their datacenter today, I'm impressed with the level of communication, especially on Twitter. They did what they could to deal with an unforeseen crisis.

Ditto on the thumbs up.

I 100% agree.

Issues happen with every host regardless. It's about how the host resolves it that determines your relationship with them.

HostDime was on top of it at all times and worked hard to resolve the issue as fast as they could, and that proves they care about their clients. Keep it up HostDime!

Vary well said. Occasional problems will occur at any host, and how those are handled separates good ones from bad ones, as long as these things don't happen often of course.

They had a major failure I believe when conducting a power upgrade. Servers were all down. Apparently, their own systems, like interal services and VOIP phone system, are all located in the same datacenter. This made it rather difficult as all of their internal systems were down.

Well, I'm a new customer of HostDime, and I can't say better than what have been said earlier.

As a customer, I received an email from HostDime regarding this upcoming upgrade. And they did mentally prepare their customers. I hope all their customer were able to read their emails.

That e-mail itself raised my confidence in HostDime.

It seems that generally their customers are really happy about their service. And ofcourse bad things can happen to any host. It is very glad to hear that even if they are facing some issues lately, their customers are willing to share their good points.

Usually the major issues are updated at their status page.
