Who is the best VPS provider ?

Hostv.com
Wiredtree.com
Inmotionhosting.com
VPSlatch.com
Burstnet.com
or i will appreciate if you can suggest a better one .

Hi, I am trying to get a VPS for my website.
I was using blue-host since 2004, Great People, but my site requirement grew far beyond what i was getting from their shared servers. They recommended i should get a VPS.

I will be needing
at least
100 GB RAID
1000 GB bandwidth @ 100mbit speed (or more)
cPanel/WHM
2048 MB Dedicated Memory
and Over 2ghz of guaranteed CPU
99.9 % Up time
Fully managed
and no limitation on SQL queries

Thanks
Abraham

It sounds like you have a pretty good size list already. Why not use one of those providers? I think you also have a typo...

burstnet.com does not sell VPS service

If you are running a mid-high range business that is dependant on uptime than Wiredtree is the way to go. Any issues I had with Wiredtree were responded to in 10 minutes to an hours. It has never gone down. They are a bit pricy but, its worth it for the service and support you get.

I have one doubt ...
You are trying to choose a VPS..

I think one thing that can be important is the PING of the server.

What is the best parameter? Under what? 100ms ?

Yes! I would try to keep it under that. Also choosing the one closest to you is important if you need to work with large files and if you backup databases and stuff. Also choosing one that has the most connectivity is best as well. Do not settle for a single homed connection.

If you're running a game server on your VPS make sure you know where a lot of the players are located and locate your server as close as you can get to them. That will reduce the lag which is very important.

If you are looking for the best performance and have the budget to back it, I would recommend WiredTree or KnownHost. Both have very good reputations around here.
