I signed up with MDD Hosting on 29 Dec & brought the New Year in with their Semi-Dedicated Basic Hosting plan. I've been following MDDHosting on WHT for about a year, so when I decided to separate my ecommerce sites from my other sites, they were at the top of my list.
I didn't really have any pre-sales questions, so I opted for a two-year subscription from the get-go. Based on WHT reviews/research, I had no qualms signing up for a biennial plan.
The sign up phase was pretty straight forward. In a flash, I got the welcome info with all of the host info.
Tickets/email responses are one phase where MDD Hosting really shine. I don't know if they actually sleep over there, because I get ticket responses in less than a minute. It doesn't matter what time or what day of the week, they are on top of their tickets. They transferred my ecommerce site from my old host and helped me with questions regarding some bounced emails in record time.
Server speed has been great. Most of the time, my site loads very fast. Every now & then, there might be a delay of a second or two.
Overall, I give MDD Hosting 5 Stars! I'll be sure to update this review in the coming months. Thanks,

Thanks for the review, although it's hard to tell much about a host within the first few days. However MDDHosting seems to be one of the most consistently well rated hosts her. Looking forward to your update.

Though, this review is only 9 days into the account and this really does not give us much insight to or from the service overall. You are better off updating us in a few months, might have a little more oomph than 9 days and might be taken more serious.

I won't be wrong to list MDDhosting among the Top 10 web hosting company in terms of value for money. They have one of the best reviews on the internet. I've never seen one single negative review about MDDhosting. For a company which just started in 2007, they are really doing well for themselves.

A 9 day review is fine, obviously it isn't as good as a 2-3 month review, but still good nonetheless.

OP was just saying that the signup process was good and that they transferred his site over quickly. A lot of hosts don't even get that right. OP was just pointing that out.

I agree, though, be sure to keep us updated. Like give another review after 2-3 months or so.

Exactly my point. I have active hosting with stablehost, hawkhost, and 100tb.com and am very pleased with the levels of service from these hosts. The main impetus for my initial review was how fast MDDHosting takes care of tickets, and I am not referring to automated responses. My interaction with them through setup/migration has been well above my expectations. Mike is definitely a professional. I'll be sure to update my review in a few months. Thanks.

Yes, almost at the 2 month mark, and MDDhosting continues to impress. When I first signed up, my intention was to transfer over all of my ecommerce sites to a host I could trust. I held back transferring my primary site just to make 100% sure. After a month, I decided to migrate my main store site to MDDhosting. However, I had a small text error message that kept showing up just under the homepage banner. I then asked mddhosting to do a second cpanel migration using my main site as the primary this time. Mike was happy to oblige and didn't charge any extra fees (which I would not have had a problem paying). The site was up and running error free within an hour.

Pingdom reports a 99.3% uptime for January with outages usually occurring in the early AM hours. So, uptime is easily in the acceptable range for me. The server performance has been great. From what I understand, semi-dedicated hosting accounts at MDDHosting have access to up to 4 times the amount of CPU cores as regular shared hosting. Maybe that has something to do with the level of performance I am receiving.

In short, my experience with MDDhosting has been positive since day 1. The folks at MDDhosting have handled all of my tickets within minutes no matter the time of day. If you have mission critical sites and want amazing tech support, mddhosting is the way to go.
