Looking for someone to explain IPV6 to me in IM

I'm working on converting all of my servers and locations over to dual stack IPV4/IPV6. I'm quite confused/lost to say the least. Looking for someone to spend an hour or 2 coaching me and explaining all this stuff to me.

This includes IPV6 routing over existing VPN connections (PPTP,L2TP/IPSEC,OpenVPN) and static IPV6 hosting.

I do not think IPv6 is well supported for VPN yet. You listed many VPN technologies, do you have one in mind?

I've been able to use the ipv6 assigned to my windows box over VPN (tested pptp/l2tp) as long as it's dual stack. Which is one of the reasons of my confusion all indicators were that it wouldn't work. But it does. Funny thing was that the host itself wasn't even configured for IPV6. Somehow the client grabbed an IPV6 from somewhere up the stream and it was routed through the intermediary server with no issue.

Bump...

Still looking for some IPV6 help.

Willing to pay reasonably for any help. (I didn't mention this before, but I thought it was implied as this was in the employment forum).

I've narrowed down what I'm looking to do to native PPPD+RADVD IPV6 delegation using RADVD. However the routing isn't working quite as expected. Some of the local link addresses are malformed from some unknown reason (perhaps VPN adapter not having a MAC addr?). It's showing up as fe80::3, fe80::2 .

Closest I've got so far is being able to being a remote server but ipv6 traffic is not being routed through. I think the issue is with the malformed local-link address. As any connectivity from the IPV6 address generate a ton of neighbor solicitation requests. Looking at other clients; they have no issues generating a proper local-link address. I'm think this may be as a result of a client issue on the testing PC.
